So why have I been hibernating

The cold days have drawn upon us and I bet all you want to do is curl up in your den (or under your doona) and hibernate for the winter, just like those big, cute, grizzly brown bears...ohhhhh.

I've certainly been doing just that.  Lots of hot green tea, and every chance I get, (when noone's looking) I snuggle under that warm and cosy blanky which (normally) lays at the bottom of the bed.  My massage table is getting a good work out too, as Bec found out the other day...oops!!

Kinesiology for Performance

Thanks to some Kinesiology treatment from my friend Kim to unravel some embedded fears, I have now successfully completed two triathlons, and will compete in my third next month at the Gold Coast.  I am pretty pleased with my efforts (5th in my age group isn't bad) and absolutely astounded at how calm I was in relation to the events (except for that horrendous surf swim....need some Kinesiology to clear that one!).  So calm at my first event, that I had to create a new drama, just so I could 'worry' about something.  How crazy is that!

A New Challenge

It is a new year and a time for some new challenges.  This year I have set myself some big goals and one of them is to perform, enjoy and do well in my first triathlon. Triathlon! What! You're kidding me!...sorry, was that your subconscious or mine speaking out loud?

 

So why you ask would I put myself through such pain and agony, when balance, love and happiness is much more important?  Good question and one I ask myself every morning at 5am before heading off to a training session.   The answer though is simple.  It is about a new experience.
